Question about D15B2

Ok i have the 1.5 in my 4g4d and I have a small oil leak from behind the distributor. losing about 1 qt of oil every 30-40 days

ok what the deal is I went to autozone. (yeah I know) and asked one of the reps up there what the problem could be with my oil leak. He sold me the oil sending unit. He said that the sending unit is probally going bad and is causing it to push oil out from behind my distributor.

I asked him about the O ring that is behind the distributor and he said there is no O ring or seal, or gasket behind there.

Is this guy giving me the correct info or is he an idiot.

Thanks,
Mark D
