BIG Project :1/12th Pro-Mod Vette

Hi everyone, hope you'll bare with me a while here. I started this a long
time ago, only recently dug it out again to have a break from the smaller ones. It's been a passion and a labour of love to do this, and try and get it right.
There's to be lots (about 90%)of scratch building on this one, it's not something I took on lightly,I pretty much have it all planned out now,
just have to pull it off
I have one of the Parma 1/10th scale Hemi's,which I hoped would make it in,but it's just too large ,...so,as you can see,I've started scaling it down to 1/12 and making my own.Multiplying the sizes by 10,devideing by 12..
The chassis is brass tube, soon to be updated to a more modern style,
all the suspension componants to be made,wheels....possibly modified
kit peices,not sure..
This WILL take a while, hope not too many get bored if the progress slows...........please be patient,I hope you enjoy
Here's a start...........

That is just insane work you are doing!
Keep it up , and don't lose your calm over some fiddly things you can't do, think it over, and I think it will be very good. Can we have some more detailed shots of what are the actual mods?

Thanks

Olivier

Too awesome, stump. That's just unreal. I'm loving every bit of this.

Could we get some pics of the chassis even though you're scrapping it? I'd like to see all that bent brass.

Wow! Looking very, very good so far! I can't wait to see more.

Could you post a pic of the body of the car next to a 1/24 scale model? Just to get an idea of the size difference?

1/12th versus 1/24th

Thanks guys, just a couple of shots to compare sizes (Pille)
And the chassis Octagon, yeah,I'll be redoing it to more closely resemble what a few guys are using here in Aus..Probably same/similar to the U.S
I'd think.
Here's the pics...

More soon, hope to paint the motor this weekend.
