Dodge power

I have always liked the Charger. Especially the late '60s ones. Challengers were nice too - sort of a luxury 'Cuda.

First off, I do not own a car.

But I love cars. Dodge is my favorite company

*points to member name*

My favorite is the Challenger. The 1971 Challenger. R/T, if you can. Yesterday I saw a Coronet. Truth be told, I think it isn't... the prettiest car... but man, IS THAT THE COOLEST CAR YOU'VE EVER SEEN?

You know, just in your hood, in a 1970 Coronet R/T in Purple or [a bit faded] Orange, driving kinda slow, with those Amber lights on... driving into the sunset... I think I paint the image pretty well, yes?

In my opinion, the Charger is the Challengers ugly brother. But that's my opinion. But still an excelent car.

Polara? Well, I guess there is one car I haven't heard of.

Anyways, I really love the Mopar Muscle, and The Coronet and Challenger are the two most single greatest cars I've seen. If I had the money, I wouldn't be here. I'd be driving them. But at $40,000, I don't think I will ever own any of these cars. But still, there is always room for a Mopar fan in your club!

Dodge Polara

The Dodge Polara ruled the early 1960s with their Max/Street Wedge engines. They truly gave the Impalas a run for their money.

Mopars best looking muscle cars!

Just my opnion but I thought the 70 Challenger,70 Cuda and 71-72 Roadrunners where the best lookin muscle cars ever built! I had a 70 Challeneger SE and a 72 ChargerSE. I wish I had these cars today!
I seen a 70 Challeneger 340 T/A here in AZ it was Plum Purple with a Black vynal interior. It was Barret Jackson sweet! And if I should ever hit the lottery I would try and track down this car!

hello people. Just found this forum and looks like a good place with some knowledgable folks. I just wanted to see if i could pick some brains here about a car i think ive fallen for. It's my uncle-in-law's. but my father in-law has it in his backyard, has been there 10+ years now. Its a late 60s...i think 66-69...coronet. I'm not sure how much he wants for it, but gramma-in-law said to just make an offer. I have absolutely no idea what the proper value of this car is, but as it has been sitting for a decade i think i could get it dirt cheap. Save it or let it keep dieing, ya know.My question(s) is ..what would be a decent non-offending offer for this car, and what info can i get from you guys. Its orange with a black tail stripe, all the glass is good, the interior is ..basically gone, not sure if it runs or not, the engine looks to me like a small block. Man, this is a long post. At any rate, what do you fellas think? Id love to have it.

Re: Welcome Dodge muscle car fans!

I'm a lover of the '69-'71 Charger. I've found one, a '69, but I can't afford it right now so I'm letting it sit. No one else seems to have seen it because it's been there for ten or more years. But when I save up some money it's getting a HEMI!
