It's not nearly as interesting as one might guess...

Saturn comes from saturnine. Tangerine comes from the color of my iMac.

Yes this post already was created. But it was a loooong time ago. I was actually thinking about bringing it back up. But this works even better, as I think my old one was about 7 pages long.

As for my username, well, I really dont know. I first had it way back in highschool. I was setting up a email account and slacker was already taken. I decided to put my initials in front. I have just used it ever since.

Well, my name is kinda self explanatory. I'm always being told that I am a devious person. I am also cynical about things in life. So as my name implies:

DVS = Devious

N = and

CYNIKL = Cynical

Sometimes I tend to be on the mean side or just plain blunt about things. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes against. Either way, I get my point across.

I was too lazy to type my whole thing out, so I just searched for my old post and quoted it.

#3. It's not related to anything sexual

#4. And if it had to be used in a sexual context then it would be to say that the HuMMErMan recieves hummers from women. But id be lying through my ass if I said the HuMMErMan was any kind of a chick magnet, so ill just refer back to #3)

The real reason for the nick is that I just love the AM General Hummer. I have posters of the Hummer, my computer desktop has a pic of a Hummer on it, and once, I got to drive a hummer (Just around the block, but I still felt like god ) My dream is to eventually own a Hummer of my own.

One day I used HuMMErMan as my nick on IRC and it stuck from then on. And if your wondering about the mix of capitol and lowercase characters, I think I was just drunk at the time

It means that when I needed a username (four years ago) I didn't want to use "Alex", hence "ales"

DantesInferno is fairly self-explanitory, but for those that aren't familiar with it, it comes from The Inferno of Dante Alighieri, The Divine Comedy which describes at length the nine circles of Hell: Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Avarice, Anger, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, and Treacherous Fraud.

When choosing a username for AF, after much deliberation , I chose this, mainly thinking "what the Hell am I getting myself into?" And suddenly a quote from Dante's Inferno seemed relatively applicable, "Abandon hope all ye who enter..."
