help identify this part please?

On my 2000 bravada, this piece here broke, i noticed once it started making a clunk noise. I know it's connected to stabilizer, but I need to know what the part is where the metal is broken. https://db.tt/gXqWGT3F

Re: help identify this part please?

That's the front sway bar. The piece that's broken connects the sway bar to the lower A frame. Rotate the piece about 180 degrees and you'll see where is broke from the lower A frame.
I believe it can be repaired by a competent welder.
Remove the broken piece, tack it in place where it broke from then weld it up.
Be aware of fire dangers.

Re: help identify this part please?

Thank you for the reply and info. I have a buddy who's actually a really good welder and was considering that as an option.
