Revell Mini Cooper............The way you guys like it!

I have been wanting to built this model for a while and I have Finally built i. The model itself is simple, which leads to the question of why there are so many problem with it. Nothing is warped but the fitting is terrible with the body and font bumper. The window hits the body and it wont fit together right. other than that its a very good kit. The inteior went together smooth, except for the dash which was a paint, 2 days of trying and 5 rubber bands later it was a work of art tought. The color is Metallic Blue and the wheels are Fujimi Model 7's. I decided to go with the Clear taillights after I saw discovered that they are actually a option on the factory mini. The headlight have a dot of blue for a modern look. the interior is flat red with Black floor. I painted the dash and all the inteior silvers with testors Aluminium for a better look than what revell supplied. Overall I am very happy with this model

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the comments.

I also forgot to mention that the rear was lowered to level the stance of the car.

Good job.
The wheels are nice but I think they don't match the mini.

Cool Mini!

Actually I think these wheels fit the looks of the Mini just fine, but gold is my least favorite wheel color for any car-it looked cool for about 5 minutes in the '70's before everyone jumped on the bandwagon. The model looks great, and I'll bet those wheels would look even better in white or silver...but that's just my opinion...
