Honda Civic LX: Hero to Zero
I was shocked when I read this. Apparently the Honda Civic is no longer a top pick according to consumer reports!

Re: Honda Civic LX: Hero to Zero
Fair call, I have far from impressed with the Civic since the big platform change in 2000.
It seems like they let the accounting department have a go at car design.

Re: Honda Civic LX: Hero to Zero
ya totally. I think the Japanese have fallen into the same trap that we did a few decades ago. Basically thinking they were top dog and that they didnt need to work as hard to sell/make good cars. Obviously the US is trying to pull itself out of that hole right now, but I imagine the Japanese will try to turn things around in the coming years.

Re: Honda Civic LX: Hero to Zero
I don't think all of the Japanese brands of gotten to complacent, Nissan and Mazda are both trying new things and producing some interesting cars. The Mazda 3 and GTR being good examples.
Toyota and Honda have definitely lost their passion though, which is extra sad for Honda given it's origins and the goals of it's founder.
