1993 CV - Sudden loss of power

Runs fine for a few miles, then loss of power down to 10mph. Check engine light comes on. Turn car off. Wait a few minutes, then it is fine for a few miles. Check engine light goes off. Thoughts? And where is the fault code reader plug in on this car?
THX!

Re: 1993 CV - Sudden loss of power

Sounds like you either have a restricted fuel filter or the converter is plugging. The EEC IV plug is located under the hood. It should have a cover on it that says EEC TEST. It should be on the drivers side fender.
