98 BMW 740IL engine heating up quickly
this is so weard my BMW is heating up very quickly within Min's it goes right to the middle but never overheats. I just noticed I have a bulge in my upper rad. hose. Yes I know replace asap. My question is it common for these BMW's to heat up so quickly? I was thinking about changing the therom. at the same time just in case any Ideas.

Re: 98 BMW 740IL engine heating up quickly
Yes, even with a properly working system, it is normal for these cars to heat up faster than what we think is normal.
As for the rock hard hose, it seems to me that has been noted before, diagnosed for problems, and all was normal...I'll check on that though.
