00 continental heater/ac blower stopped working

I have a 2000 continental. 80,000 mi, I've checked the fuse, and switch/controller, but the blower motor would stop working then come back on...now it simply won't work. Wondering if it is a relay or if the whole blower motor needs to be changed. Don't know where to look for the problem either...suggestions? I'm laid off of work and can't afford to bring it to a dealer right now, but need some A/C for my ailing wife. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
