Something is missing???? I glued the cover down and pretended like nothing was in there when I built mine! Is that a chip in the paint that I see? I hope it's just a reflection. Beautiful shine on this body.

HÄ?? ... needs polishing? ... you´re joking, finish looks perfect !!!

When the model is finished, send photos to MFH, that they can see, how good their models can look, built with great skills and timeconsuming CF-decalling-job

It sure is reflection....I hope

Thanks guys.

Micha I agree MFH should take someone like Alex (360spider) to make models for their site. 2003GA on their site look like joke.

Damn, this is just so awesome.

When you clear over the decals, are you still left with the impression of the edge of the decals in the surface? If so, how do you deal with that?

If you look at the close up of front shock you can not see the edge really, the thing is that it is hard to do it with only one coat of clear over the decals (not hard but impossible), what I do is clear over decals, then send with micromesh 3200 followed with 4000 and then clear again, you will lose the edge doing it like this (not completely thou but it will be very hard to see).

Aha! Thanks for that. Slow and steady I guess. Imagine going through the clear, ugh... I could also see it turning the hard edge into a very broad soft wave, or something that creeps back as the paint hardens. Lol, I've become a bit paraniod about paint I think

Thanks, I used Rosso Formula 1 (Pre-2004), I would say it is very good match.

Meanwhile I did some dry fitting just to bu sure that everything still fits well and to see how will it all look when displayed, it will be something like this + wings that are still not done.

Now I am entering critical stage, you can destroy the project in final assembly faze

Edit: now I see I putted the tires the wrong way

Nice work.

I've never built a Bridgestone shod F1 before so would not have noticed! I take it that the arrowhead is the direction indicator? At least you haven't put L and R on them
