Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Hi!

Still in work this huge project. Donīt know why Iīm doing so much work for me... If I hadnīt any reference pics, it would be completed

Now Iīm working on the engine, I have to mod the RB26 to a RB25, donīt know how accurate it will be, if not, it doesnīt matter to me The main thing is that the engine will look high detailed and cool

Does anybody know how the oil wiring works on this one?
From oil pump to oil cooler to oil sump, oil filter, turbo, engine block, valve cover and the oil tank? Something else?

When I know how the wiring should be, the project will continue faster.

Still to do:
rebuild the bottom of the car
scratchbuilt exhaust system
scratchbuilt stabilizers
complete the engine bay
detailed engine rebuilt with wiring, air filter, intercooler
brake lines maybe
hinges for the hood
headlights
hood pins

Done:
interior 98%
engine fittet
front suspension modified
ride hight
header

Here some pics, please enjoy

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Not sure if this helps, but I have a picture of the engine bay of Blitz D1 ER34
2003 model. Unfortunatly, I know the newer versions have MUCH different looking bays.

to be true to the car, the RB26DETT came in the 4WD GTR, the RB25DET came in the RWD GTT (GTS for R32 / R33 models)

i have never tried to drift a 4WD, but sure had fun doing it in my RB25DET R33 GTS

risko,

top project you have going here, very impressed with the engine bay! if you need any more engine pics, head over to www.gtr.co.uk or www.skylineowners.com , i'm sure the guys there will be more than helpful in your quest

keep up the good work

its true that an rb26 is from a gtr but many people with the gts/ gts-t here have fit the rb26 to a rb20/25 transmission

Re: D1 BLITZ ER34 Skyline

Hello again, and thanks for your comments

The engine bay is completed, now I have to clean it up and fit some pumps and wires, the IC, engine... I haven´t really time now, but it will go on next week

When I did it, I´ll paint it blue!
Here some pics in silver.
