gonna salvage the bike, the frame is still good so are the forks.

gonna re-do the front area where the fairing used to be. sorta like a Truimph Speed triple.

Ill be healed up long before June 03 (i hope), and the bike should be operational by then too... its on my crap to do list. it falls in right behind the Nova though, of course fixing it will cost me next to nothing so when im waiting for parts on the Nova ill work on it.

I'm 19 btw. im guess your 17-18ish since your still in HS?

i got my first bike at 17 a (00 Buell Blast: gutless wonder but cool). I had my bike license before my car license.

I waited till I was 18 to get license to get around the state of California's stupid policy of forcing you to take a driving school course you have to pay for since no school offers the driving portion of Drivers Ed. anymore. Plus I had no real need to get it, all my friends lived close enough and the 70 Nova wasnt working yet.

all depends on your budget.

if you shop around you can pick-up a used buell blast which is a 500cc Single makes about 34hp. It'll do 90mph if you tuck way in.

anywho you can pick them up for about 2 grand, maybe a tad more.

Ah yes, the blast... feel the impact of power, from that single little cylinder... that reminds me of a civic I saw, with a HUGE decal that said "Honda, the impact of power!"

on a bike????

oh my, unless you just hold the throttle wide open for 3 days you wont hurt the motor. motorcycle motors are near indestructable.

look for 00-02 SV650 Suzuki's. you can pick them up for cheap like $4000-$5000. Cause the 03's are coming out fuel injected and are the hot set up so people and dealers are dumping the n/a bikes for cheap.

Aha! Just the same as my collarbone! My advice, don't electrocute yourself

Oh yeah, the lump is supposed to go down after about 5 years... Mine has already lost the sharp edge, so it's good

Well... After near 11 weeks of being wounded... I go back to work tommorow.

Project Nova re-begins ASAP. Muwahaha... Although I'm still a bit away from getting the thing going at least now I can make huge steps towards to finished product.
