dude I work at a grocery store, You think I can afford that shit? lol. No I already said me and some buddies are all doing ours the same time. Getting the paint in bulk and the other shit we need and we're going to do it ourselves. We have help, my uncle owns a body shop and so does my friends grandpa..so hopefully we don't mess them up too bad, lol.

i bought a warm air intake from ebay.com, i have had it for 2 years now, it works great, sounds good, and i noticed a hair more power, and the best part, i havent had ANY problems with it, she's been nice and reliable, (and was competitively priced as well)

Re: Official Product Review Thread

you could have simply said that a warm air intake is intended to add life to the engine by heating the air that goes into the throttle body, therefore steadying the fuel flow at a low level, added MPG to the car and in overall making it easier for the engine...whereas a cold air intake is the opposite. It takes in colder denser air so that when it goes into the throttle body, the IAT tells the ECU to send more fuel therefore more air/fuel equals more speed....geez, lol.

speaking of ECU, does anybody know if the Apexi S-AFC will work on our cars?

Re: Official Product Review Thread

Actually, I was wondering bout the cai thing... after you install it, you have to reset the ecu thing to get the correct air/fuel ratio, which I heard will happen at the next start-up, if the battery has been unatttached for long enough. Just wondering if thats right.
