Oh yeah - Put it next to something 1/24 so we can complain about that instead!

Re: The Vodka and Pancakes 350Z

Nice build, first one on here! When you took the engine out, did you cut out the engine bay (trim around the hood). If that makes sense. If so how did you attach the bumper to the rest of the car? With only the fenders?
Sorry if im a little confusing.

Great shine and execution.

Great execution on the paintjob. The car doesn´t meet my taste, but there´s nothing bad to say about the craftsmanship on this build!

Thanks all!

The body is just a shell, the engine bay is part of the chassis....so all I did was sand around the hood edges to make a better fit then I glued it to the body. The front and rear facias glue onto the body attaching with location tabs.

So by merely gluing on the hood and leaving out the engine no other normal assembly steps were disturbed.

Re: The Vodka and Pancakes 350Z

Wow, it looks great.
Is there some kind of tutorials, somewhere, to show me how to do this kind of paint job? I wish to paint a car like the RX-8 of Tokyo Drift, blue to black .
Thanks
