Someone asked to see a comparison between the kit's seats and the ones I used. I used seats/door panels from the Burago kit. Maisto's seats are very nice, but must be separated from the floor. Both diecast model's seats depict the optional Daytona seats on the 550 and 575. I'll use Maisto seats in my 575, and I'll be borrowing a quilted leather pattern shown by 360Spider for the package shelf of my 575.

Here's the comparison shot.

Fujimi needs to get with the program with their interior shapes and engraving. The seats in this kit are pretty miserable by comparison with any other kit manufacturer's abilities these days, and even compared to the plastic bits inside of cheap diecast models that are now becoming necessary for parts . They nailed the body and wheels and clear parts (mostly), but the seats/door panels/interior bucket are rather amateur.

These all seemed to get built up really fast. I'm still waiting for mine so I can open it up and pretend to build it. Great interior! Keep up the awsome work!

Woah! Hot! I've been directed to the progress thread, something about the color, which is indeed superfly. That's a great build, you ACME guys really know how to get them together. Just gorgeous. I am always impressed with your lack of fear of diecast for models or parts, too, btw.
