2006 4 cyl stratus SXT
Hi I think the alternator is going bad, 12v at the battery w/ the engine running, how can i tell if its the actual alternator or the voltage regulator built into the PCM ( not commanding the alternator on)

You could remove the alternator and have it bench tested at an auto parts store. I would probably bet it is the alternator itself though.
