AC Diverter/Blower problem

My 2003 Tahoe AC is very cold but the diverter switch does not switch the air from vent to face to foot etc.

Also, the fan speed switch works on 1 thru 4 but cuts off completely on position 5.

I just put a new Delco control panel in the dash as I thought that was where the problem was but the new one made no difference at all.

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to fix it?

Re: AC Diverter/Blower problem

Fan speed issue is likely from a bad resistor.

Issues with placement of air is usually caused by a bad blend door actuator

take the blower motor out inspect for burnt connector pins.
diverter maybe stuck..controller usually not the problem .
