I am extremely surprised that it is no longer owned by them as when I was looking into aquiring 11R they told me they were very unlikely to part with it.
Anyway they clearly have so was it bought from them before or after the re-fit, my guessing is before?

They didn't own it before then either. They were likely shielding the actual owner whose intention at the time was not to sell it. Refit happened after the sale.

Ok slightly annoyed at being deliberatley missinformed but I do understandtheir motives.
Am also very intruigued as when I first began posting on here I was told thet #02R was owned by someone in the North of England if not the Borders with Scotland. When I then heard that Lanzante owned it I naturally accepted that as they had raced it then they were in fact the owners and they never said that they were'nt.
It now opens the question was my first information correct, though to be honest I doubt anyone owning it would keep it at the other end of the country.
Secondly is it still owned by the person who had it when it was blue or did it change hands before the re-fit?
This mystery of #02R has always haunted me from my early interests but was waylaid when I thought I knew who the owners were.

Sorry you state that the re-fit was done after it changed hands missed that one. I assume we are not at liberty to mention who did own it before the sale?

Last I heard (from the owner) is that #02R isn't currently in the UK

Despite that fact, hopefully it finds another new lease on life with an owner who will exercise it regularly.
