Started to build my first 1/24 kit.. tamiya 93 Supra. Need some tips and suggestions - Page 5

Trying my best bro. Putting in a lot of time & effort probably because its my first build and wanna get it right. I saw some of the cars you made and mannnn I gotta say your work is just outstanding. Thanks for checking out my thread every now and then. Let me know what else I can add to make this Supra more detailed.

Started looking around the house for something that I could turn into a display stand. Found an old all glass desk pen/card holder with a little watch you know what I am talking about. Took me a while but managed to take all pieces apart and I was left with a +-10 by 4 inch nice thick piece. Then I just had to add some bling.

Found some transparent plastic, did some high school geometry and cut it into pieces and superglued those pieces together so that they cover the two far ends and then painted them red. Don't know if I'm making any sense, so posting step by step pics of the entire process.

Took a long time to get this right. Wanted the wheels to sit on the glass so had to take measurements of the wheel base of the car and then cut accordingly.

Glued everything together and used permanent makers to make the Supra logo so that it has an authentic look to it.
