Porsche 917-20 Pink Pig

I just started another 917.... this time the Pink Pig.

References

This is a Le Mans Miniatures model. I've never seen a pink resin before...

Body prepared and painted Tamiya X-17

Re: Porsche 917-20 Pink Pig

Jesus and Jeremy, thanks for you comments!

More work today... all decals placed

Numbers on the front and rear needed to be cut because of the Naca duct. I will apply some layers of clear coat to protect the decals then will mask and repaint black and white on these numbers.

Looks Good. The leMans Minatures kits are really casted up well.My XJR-14 Gold Line has the same coloured resin as you 917 but my Lemans Minatures soft line XJR-14 is a cream coloured resin. How are the lemans decals after a few years in the box? some of mine have yellowed and a bit out of register.Nice Job
Cheers Mick.

Thanks Mick! My model is a bit old but decals are not yellow. I always store decals in Zip bags to avoid humidity.

Hello Ian! Do you mean the black material? It's a 2mm tape with a texture very similar to a real seat belt. PM me if you want some.
