96 Firebird starting problem
I have a 1996 Firebird, and I'm having issures with the car starting. At first this happend once in a while and I could pump the gass a few time while cranking the car and it would start. Now its happening more frequently and my father and I can't seem to figure out whats causing it to not start. We change the fuel filter, I think my dad changed the ignition cluch. The car gets fuel, and it gets a spark. On the bad times when my car just sits there and cranks, I have to pump the heack out of my gass in order to start the car. One time it wouldn't start, even with me pumping the gas and I killed my battery. I was wondering if anyone had an idea on what could cause this to happen.

Re: 96 Firebird starting problem
Which engine?
Check for codes? Will it start with carb cleaner sprayed into the intake? Was a fuel pressure reading taken? Spark on ALL cylinders? |

Re: 96 Firebird starting problem
I haven't done any code reading or fuel pressure reading. I have no check engine light on eather. The spark plugs are almost new. They might be 2 months old.
