What year did they stop making yugos?
Anyone know what year they stopped producting Yugos and why?

They stopped during the Yugoslavian civil war, but they resumed after it was over. So they never really stopped making Yugos.

They stopped to produce it some years ago when FIAT bought Serbian factory 'Zastava" (producer of yugo). FIAT has not still start to produce new cars in Serbia, but it is expected that for some months factory start work.

Not that long after the Pluhar lady was blown off the Mackinac bridge while driving one.
