Preventing Fuel Vapor Lock

Hi, Does any one know what is the best way to prevent fuel vapor lock? This is not a model specific question. I'm wondering how to go about preventing this kind of problem.

Are there some thinks I should look for when dealing with this problems? like fuel lines too close to hot engine parts, etc. and if there are some recommended after market accessories I can use like heat shields for carburetor, fuel lines, etc.

One method may be to use a high pressure electric fuel pump and fuel injection. Also, running the fuel lines away from exhaust and not directly over valve covers, etc. will help.

That's half of it.
The lower the pressure of the fuel, the lower the temperature it will boil.
Install an electric fuel pump as close to the tank as possible. This minimizes the amount of fuel in the line that is actually under a vacuum, or at the suction side of the pump, if you will. If you can get a pump suitable for your carb INSIDE the tank that would be best. But that probably can't be done....
