Ticking Noise
Hello All, I Have A 93 Lumina Euro 4door 3.1 V6. The Engine Seems To Have A Ticking In It. Ive Tried Octane Boosters And Injector Cleaners As Well As High Octane Gas To No Avail Nother Happens. Is There Any Simple Quick Fix To This Solution Or Is This Normal. The Ticking Is Quite Noticable, Gets Faster As I Accelerate, Then I Cant Really Hear It Anymore After The Car Picks Up Speed. It Has 129000miles On It. Please Help, Thanx

Re: Ticking Noise
Mine has always had a rattle, gets loud in cold weather, once the motor is warmed up, you'd almost have to have the hood up to hear it. Most of them do. I noticed the other day that even the New Impalas with the 3.4's make a lotta racket too.
I just ignore it. Sounded like that for 119,000 miles now....
