Ok i have a 408 procharged 720hp 90 mustang, my oil pressure gauge reads 45psi at start up and 25 to 30 psi (idle) when warmed up jumps to 40 above 2000rpm. im just woundering if this sounds normal to u guys. lets here what oil press u guys run at, i asked this guy at work today that has a 85 mustang with a 302 and he said he runs at like 60psi warm and at idle

Your oil pressure is within normal range. There's nothing wrong with it.

ok sweet, what about when it warms up to around 120 to 180 its really hard to start, like so bad that i cant start it it cranks like the battery is dead but its not. i think i need to change to a different oil right now im useing 10w-30, also the first start of the day i get a huge cloud of white smoke. thanks
