Gotta be at least one?

Anyone ever actually seen a 67 Shelby Gt500 and not the one from gone in 60? Got any pics?

Cool Shelbys

Ive seen a magnificent Metallic Blue 67 shelby in Darwin. But i dont know if the guy managed to get it fixed. he tried to overtake me on the inside, on a gravel road, on a sharp bend. (i dont know what he was thinking, he might have been in a hurry). but he hit a tree head on. he survived, not even a scratch, and wanted to do his best at fixing the car. i will try and trace down a few pics for you!

I seen one at a car show in Newark Ohio. It was Gray and black. It was owned by a rich guy who brought it in on an inclosed trailer. Wish I had some pics, Sorry.

I used to own both a 67 and a 69 GT350. I also have a friend here in my hometown that owns an Acupulco Blue 67 GT500 that he bought when he was in high school. He paid $1400 for it...of course, this was back in 1974. I'm a former State Rep for SAAC, so I've seen LOTS of Shelbys, Cobras, Panteras, and even a real GT40. Check out SAAC's website (www.saac.com), and check for a local event in your area if you want to see some real ones...

Here's a pic of my 67...if I can make it work...

I see GT350's all the time, but they are still a sweet car.

The original GT350 was a real Man's car, you'll never see a sissy driving one of these. :smoka: No power steering, no power brakes, no air conditioner, no radio, ultra harsh ride and no stupid cupholders!! To pop the clutch, you're pushing the peddal with all your strength, I love it, wish I had one :smoka:

My neighbor in Westport Washington had a 67' Shelby. Unfortunatly I was too young at the time to really appriciate it. All i remember was it was cherry red and one of the most beautiful machines I had ever seen. I remember her telling us that if her house ever caught on fire while she wasn't home that we were to break into the garage and get her car as far from the house as possable

Think about it, if you owned one, would you let anyone see it or touch it.

I would let people see it, but a few may touch it. I dont think I'll ever worry about owning one. Im not Mustang fan anyway.
