Question inexperienced with 96 blazer, please help

i have a 96 blazer, i dont know too much about it. i was wondering if low oil couild prevent it from running, its not very low, only about a quart or so. please help a.s.a.p before i do something dumb, lol

NO, A quart or even 2 or 3 quarts low have no effect on starting or running, but 2-3 or quarts would be hard on the engine since they only hold 4.5 quarts.

Start looking at fuel pressure and lose of spark to spark plugs.
