Black SLR

Hello! This Mercedes will be OOB for a contest on one of the Russian modeling forums. The same like Alex's Porsche.
The body will be paint in solid black and interior may be white or sand.

It starts. Dry fitting.

Trying to correct gaps between a front bumper and a hood with front wings.

Dry fitting of the interior and windows.

Filling footprints of push bars and shrinkages.

And painting by Sikkens automotive paint and lacquer.
Base.

Lacquer.

There were some speck of dust, and it was need to polish some surfaces, for example the hood.
That's the result.

There is no any secret: dry grinding with P1500, then P2000, then wet grinding with P3000 and hand polishing with 3M polishing paste #09376 (blue cap).

Re: Black SLR

Man that reflection is crazy! Reveal your paint methods? Are you just some sort of spray-wizard?
