92 Roadmaser Wagon No Drive/overdrive help

My husband and I have a 1992 Roadmaster wagon and it is not going into drive/overdrive. Does anybody have any suggestions. Tranny fluid is good, colourwise and smell.

try checking the linkage from the sterring wheel or tranny chaz hope it helps

Got the bad news today.....the drum in the transmission is broke. $1500 approximately for a new(?) tranny.
