I have a 2000 cavalier z24, auto, which has a bad head gasket. Will a engine from a 97 or 98 sunfire gt (2.4l) manual fit into the car??? I don't have the wiring harness or computer from the sunfire. just the engine, no tranny. Thanks.
I can swap the motor myself, how much would it cost to get a new head gasket installed??? |

Re: 2000 z24 engine swap????? w 97 sunfire :S
It will fit in, but you'll need to make an EGR block off plate.

So...the wiring harness from my 2000 2.4l will hook up to the 97 2.4l without any problems. I don't need anything else??? Thanks for your help.
