Popping in front end
Theres a random popping sound coming from my passenger side front suspension. Its sounds like an axle popping but the axles are new. Im thinking its in the suspension. Its a single, loud pop. It happens when I put alot of stress on the front end. For example during moderate to hard braking. It happens most when I'm braking hard and turning at the same time(low speed). During highway speed crusing, I never hear it, unless I hit an extremly large bump.
What could it be? Ball joints? Tie rod ends? And if it is one of these parts, how do I go about checking them?

Re: Popping in front end
Make sure thespring is in the seat properly. I had one twist out abit on the last car and it acted very similar.

Re: Popping in front end
I'm having the issue right now too.
First time it was doing it since I bought the car coming from the drivers side. Didn't go away until after I got a new wheel hub/knuckle assembly when I blew my tranny. Second time it did it the problem was the tie rods. Inner and outers were bad so got them all replaced. Now I have a popping (still pretty rare) coming from just the passenger side again.
