Re: S2000 widebody WIP

Well, the plan is to paint them black with a red line along the edge of the lip. I've been seeing Te37s in that color scheme a lot lately and I love it. That 350Z I posted earlier has em, though the color of the car itself might not be the color of that 350Z. Maybe if the fronts were deepened a little as well, then the rear would look alright like they are. I dunno, I'll have to think about it some more.

Re: S2000 widebody WIP

Ok, the wheels are mostly done, I think I'll do a little putty work on the lips still to even things out a bit. They're not quite as deep, but still fairly deep, but I think they look pretty good now. So after I even things out a bit, the next step will be painting them black, and somehow putting the red stripe on. Also does anyone have one of those funk printers for printing decals? I would like to get some red versions of Aoshima's Volk and Rays engineering decals for the wheels. If you're willing to help me out with that PM me with details and how much you would want for em. Hopefully it'll only be a few more weeks before the weather's warm and dry enough to start primeing. Anyway... pics!!!

Re: S2000 widebody WIP

PRIMED!!!!!!!!!!!! I knew there were going to be some flaws. Even before I primed I could see a few, but I wanted to get it primed cos it would be easier to spot the flaws and fix them. Anyway, here's lots of pics.

I say you leave it primer, it looks like a bad motherf***er.

You are giving me inspiration for my S2K build I'll be doing soon, keep up the good work.

good luck, it will be finished one day. These things take time!

Years for some of us.

Re: S2000 widebody WIP

Well, it's been a LOOOOOONG time since I've been on AF here. Figured I'd drop some updates. A fair bit has changed since my last update on here. Anyone from SPC will have pretty much seen these updates already though. Decided to make some small changes to the front and side skirts. Might possibly end up making some changes to the rear as well, but I'm not sure yet.

Re: S2000 widebody WIP

Thanks guys!! I WAS considering red with carbon, but I'm kind of leaning towards another color now.
