Re: Back Strut Question

Always post the year of your Grand prix in the future.

That being said, all FWD Grand Prixs from 88-08 require a 4 wheel alignment. Any time rear struts are replaced, an alignment is required to put everything back in line.

I have a 97 grand prix gt. Is it all right if I wait about a month for the 4 wheel alignment?

Re: Back Strut Question

That depends. Sometimes you can get lucky and the new parts will be installed close. But if they are very far off, you'll wear out tires, lose mileage, and it could cause the car to not handle properly. I would suggest getting it done ASAP.

About how much money does a 4 wheel alignment cost?

$60-$80 depending on where you live.

The person that put the 2 back struts in said he got the kind of struts that don't need an wheel alignment because they aren't adjustable (?) is this right?
