Re: miles per gallon

They get crap. And depending if and what you modify, the worse they get. Don't base your purchase decision on the mpg is all I'm saying. Base it on what you want it for. Four wheeling, to go skiing, haul your mountain bikes, etc...

Re: miles per gallon

I get around 20ish on the highway, if I run at 55mph with the cruise I do get around 25mpg, and I have an 06 S 4x4 m6. Off road abuse, I get around 12ish. Something about using 4LO really eats gas, can't figure it out (Insert annoying sarcastic comment from Brent here).

You must have the four cylinder.

I average 20-22 in my frontier. I would love to see the 25 mark though.

Re: miles per gallon

Older or Newer? The next generation Xterras have a 6-spd and get better gas mileage than our old trucks. If you're buying an old one, like previously posted don't even think about gas mileage. Use it to have fun and enjoy it. Use it to commute and you'll hate it.

No 4cyls in 06. I have an '05 SE 4wd and get 15 around town and about 17 on the highway. Usually run about 80mph though. Everything is still stock so far.
