Re: Nissan R89C
What to say...? It looks fantastic. Lovely paint job - great execution. The shine you have on this one is marvelous. Racing car shine - just not too much!
The only thing that would make it above fantastic is the panel-lines on the roof!

Re: Nissan R89C
Looks flawless, stunning work.Really fantastic job on the body and decals.Did you paint the blue areas/red areas of the bodywork or use decals? It's difficult to tell it looks so smooth. If you did use the decals how easy did you find the application? I often wonder about building this one myself and have been tempted many times as my local hobby store have one on their shelf. But I always talk myself out of the purchase because of the body painting being too complicated.

The overall pattern was by original decals (reissued one with Cartograf decals) but some area still required to touch up. The decal pattern seems complicated when I first saw, using decal softener on those joint area and after clear coat on the result is satisfied. No worries, try one and you should handle it

Re: Nissan R89C
Wow, beautiful build. Makes me want to build one. And the paint along with decals came out flawless like steve stated! Any side shots?

Re: Nissan R89C
Very nice looking group C car. Did you build this as curbside, or did you do the engine also?

Re: Nissan R89C
Beautiful build!
The only bemol are the door panel lines on the roof, should have made them deeper. |

It's a lovely livery and you have done it justice.

Re: Nissan R89C
Incredible decal work. A really nice build!
Some say, Nissan always chooses 23 as their team number, as no.23 pronounces like "ni-san" in Japenese Language. |
