98 Durango No heat & front end vibration

I just got the thing a day ago from a dealership and made them do some work to it before i bought it. They changed the brakes, rotors, heater core and some other things but now its has little to no heat and there is a sort of shaking in the front end but only after a bit of driving and at low speeds. If i apply the brakes the vibration stops its as though the brakes are set too high. What could the probems be.

Re: 98 Durango No heat & front end vibration

Sounds like your ball joints have gone. Do you notice more or less vibration in a turn left or right? Also if they installed an aftermarket heater core it may not be functioning properly and will not allow the recirulation door to fully close. Or it could be that when the heater core was changed out the mechanic failed to do a thorough back flush of the system before installing the new core and thus filled it with rust and debris...Recommend find another person who wants the headache more than you.
