My 99 JGC limited with 4.0L has a #3 cylinder misfire what does that mean and how do i repair that, is it just a spark plug or coil or is it worse.

Re: cylinder misfire

Check your spark plug wires and plugs, also check the distributor cap. I'm not sure how the 99 looks under the hood, but it should be similar to the 97 I have.

I had the same problem once and it was my distributor cap. Hopefully it's just a loose wire. Good luck.

Re: cylinder misfire

No cap just a long coil I'll change the plugs and Map sensor but theres no wires either, the chrysler manual suggests that after that it may be a bad exhaust valve at cylinder 3 damn I hope not. I inform later.
