93 Rear sway bar
Hello Folks,
I had a small off the road adventure with the car the other day and had to be pulled out of the snow bank as I was really stuck . It wouldn't have been to bad except when a friend came to pull me out he hooked on to the stabilizer bar . I couldn't get out of the car as the doors were pinned due to snow. He started to pull and snapo the right side of the bar went flying. The little figure 8 spring fell out as there isn't a place for it anymore. Took the car to the shop and they want $600 to fix. (400 for parts and 200 for labour) Does this sound reasonable? and is it worth it? I have 171000 kms on the car and it runs extremely well, especially after I changed the factory spark plugs last summer. Thanks for any help |
