Smile 99 Sierra 5.3L 1500 Z71 Brake Pedal Travel

Original front pads went 85K miles. Replaced front and rear and ran
2 quarts of brake fluid through system. Took to dealer and he repeated
system flush. Still getting soft pedal with too much travel. It stops but
don't have confidence with soft pedal. Dealer mentioned could be master cylinder problem. Read other threads but they refer to systems with
drums in back. I have disc's all around. TIA for any help.

You may need to bleed the abs using the GM scanner or any high line unit capable of this function.

I questioned the GMC dealer about this and they claimed they had the tools to bleed the ABS system and did so. If air had gotten into the system running several quarts of brake fluid through should have taken care of that.
I'm thinking more a worn master cylinder or other component. Vehicle has about 110K miles on it now.
