Building a Kit Car.
I am going to building a kit car from scratch. I can do everything but fiberglass the kit. So I have a couple ?'s about how to make the kit.
I read the tutorial. But it is mainly for small parts that are not going to see any amount of wind speed or weather. So What is the best way to make the molds that I want to use? I have a design that I have made Now I just need to fiberglass it! How think of cloth do I need? How many Layers Would you suggest? I am very new to this and I do not expect to get it right the first time. Anyhelp would be very greatful. |

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO. I don't need to know how to all of the measurements and all of that I just need to know the process from after the foam is cut. These guys did a great job but did not explain anything. |

Re: Building a Kit Car.
no offense but if you havn't fiberglassed before, i would suggest starting out with small things, like kickpods and wooferboxes and learn techniques. building a body kit from scratch is extremely difficult and very expensive, even more so if you make mistakes.
