Re: Gas Tank Replacement

Hi Ian,just an update, the tank is now replaced, went pretty good, got a new one $168.00 plus some new hose, this car has been outstanding,we got it as a buyback,in 97,my wife drove it 30,000kms per year, the most that was done to it was, tires, brakes, rear struts, alternator rebuilt, waterpump, tps sensor, and now a gas tank,it has stainless steel exhaust, still original, and something I thought was odd,it is a white car and the whole underside of the car is painted white. It was originally from Kansas,so the sticker says.Anyways we are going to keep driving it till it stops,or starts costing a lot of money to keep going,it now has close to 350,000kms ,and the body is still pretty good. All I can say is olds rule!. Brad

Re: Gas Tank Replacement

agreed... with plenty of oil changes and attention you can expect it to run for so long you'll actually be very bored of it... just dont let your kids drive it!
