ccr broke the top speed record of f1 @ nardo in italy. finally a supercar that can leave f1 in dust for top speed.

The Dauer is faster . And the 9ff Porsche beat the CCR for this record months ago.

But Knoenigsegg did well for kit car with a Ford engine -I would not risk buying it though

No, the koenigsegg took the world record for top speed in a production car this february. It has been recognized by the guiness book of records. They beat the long standing record for the Mclaren F1.

The 9ff Porsche beat them to this recod at Nardo at 388 Km/h months ago. That is a fact well publicised and verified.

The CCR is as much a 'production' car as any low volume tuned car because it lacks the volume of sales to be a proper production car (over 100 cars). The whole Koeingsegg tiny 6-man company can not claim even a handful of cars sold NOW.

So regardless of what guiness says the reality is this is still a tiny kitchen factory with no high production figures or sales which to me is no more than a tuner of a V8 Ford engine in a nice shell (that is Koenigsegg for you) priced at almost Enzo's price.

Would I buy a Koeni..? No way. Would I buy an Enzo? Yes and all those who did can demand more $ for their Enzos now! With Koenigsegg you would lose big $$ on resale if you are silly enough to fall for their propaganda and buy it.

First of all don't even compare Enzo with CCR because it's not on the same level and will simply get slaughtered...The CCR is the ultimate performance machine and is the fastest car in the world that's actually worth the 750K price tag. Dauer is also garbage that no one knows or cares about and shouldn't even be mentioned in a CCR thread until they actually build a car from ground up and not use the outdated rebadged Porsche race car

them cars look tite and are fast as hell but to pricie but owell its a hyper car to me has more than 32 vents threw the damn thing ill stick with my Saleen S7 and Baugitti Verion

The CCR is more than just a tuner car set up for top speed runs. It now has a few track records, the fastest "production" 1/4 mile I have ever seen. and runs 1.3G on the skidpad!!! I feel bad for all those Enzo owners that just spent insane amounts of money on a goofy looking, impractical, car that cannot compete with a cheeper upstart Swiss company on the track.
