Heck push the clutch in, put it in first, and run the tach up to about 3500-4000 rpm's. Once you have the rpm's running steady, slide your foot off the right side of the clutch pedal and quickly land the foot on the brake pedal. As soon as you have your foot situated, push the skinny pedal on the far right all the way to the carpet. Betcha it'll peel out then.

MY 87' 2.8v-6 5spd. sure would. After it was totalled out in the front end, thats how i sold it. It burned the tires off for like half a block on an incline, right after i smoked the tires for 15 seconds standing still. As it was peeling out, i had time to take a drag of my cigarette, and ash it calmly out the window. The guy buying it said " dang ive never seen one of those do that before". All it had was some flowbastards and a K&N air fliter.> He never payed me the rest of the money for the car, so I sold it for scrap eventually. The last time i saw it, it had a volvo parked on top of it.

Re: how do i start a burnout in a stick shift firebird

I love that warning sticker. Where can I find that but, instead of saying Firebird, I ofcourse need it to say Mustang? I don't care if it is a real sticker or if I have to print it out on the computer/printer. Just as long as I can find that or even better ones out there. Thank You.
