z34 stalls

just started doing this .... when i come to a stop it stalls but not all the time more after its warmed up ??

this will be your ICM, if infact that it does this when warmed up. its going to be your ICM, maybe even a CPS. when mine did this it was the ICM. the ICM sits under the coils, on the front of the engine. you have to work kinda of blindly.

you can get one for around $100 from autozone.

Depending on how it stalls, it could be a stuck TCC solenoid not disengaging the torque converter as you come to a stop. Does it chug and die like a stick shift when you don't push in the clutch, or does it just shut off? IF it bucks and chugs, it's the TCC. You can test this by temporarily unplugging the TCC harness on the transmission. If the car quits stalling, it is definitely the TCC. If it still stalls with the TCC unplugged, it's definitely NOT the TCC. The harness you are looking for is about 1" square, has 3 or 4 wires, and is located on the drivers side of the transaxle toward the top. The TCC doesn't begin to function until after the car is warmed up, so that's why it doesn't stall when the engine is cold.

thank you for the input and it just stalls no chugging and its a auto not a stick, kinda hard to pin point this cus now it hasnt done it for two days now and i just put some hightest gas in it ?? maybe its a fuel thing ??
