Which amp and SUb?

I was thinking of buying 2 12" kickers (l7). Are these subs load and low. If you do not like these subs what kind do u think i should get? Also i have no idea what a good amp would be for these subs. I do not want a really expensive amp but what that will be able to handle the amps. THanks

Re: Which amp and SUb?

L7's are great subs. Buddy of my has 2 l7 15's in his sentra and they sound great. If you want a decent amp check out this site http://www.justamps.com. I would suggest the poweracoustik A3000DB. I had one before I got my cadence amp and it had enough power to push my 4 infinity perfect without a problem and it is only 347.99 before shipping and handling

L7 subs are fantastic. If you want cheap anything check out www.onlinecarstereo.com . I have purchased from them a couple times, and everything is 100% new in box. They have crazy ass deals and everything works awsome. Make sure you get a good class D mono amp, otherwise you might run into some problems. But anything with enough power will work. Good Luck

Trust me it will like I said I had it pushing 4 infinty prefect 12" and it did a great job. Hit 149.1dbz with the amp. Only reason I got rid of it was because I got a Cadence ZRS10 for 400 dollars (normally a 1400 dollar amp) and it pushes out more power then the A30000DB and takes less draw off the battery.

The two ohm speaker can handle more power (assuming your amp can supply it). Ill put a link here to asnwer your qestion my thoroughly.

Re: Which amp and SUb?

Ok would the power acoustic be able to support a 2ohm kicker? probably right? Also can u mix up like a 2ohm and a 4 ohm or does it have to be both the same amount of ohm if u have two subs.

If you have the power the 2ohm will sound, and hit better. It may draw more current because it needs more power, but you will be rewarded kindly with blowing hair, and girls that get off to vibrations. IDK about mixing, i would go with both 2ohm. Most Mono D amps are 1ohm stable. Make sure that your amp is 1 ohm stable, and if it puts out around 1500-1700 rms power you are set to run 2 12" L7 at 2 ohms. If your amp is not stable at 1 ohm for that much power id be careful because you will fry your amp.

Re: Which amp and SUb?

Yes that amp will do fine. It is Class D, it 1ohm stable and its 2300 RMS and 3000 Peak.
