Angry 93 chevy lumina fuel pump?

I changed my battery today and after i put it back in, my car won't start. It's turning over fine but it's not getting gas now. I've never seen a fuel pump go out this way(changing batteries). I've checked all the fuses i could find and non seem to be blown. Is there any other reason the fuel pump wouldn't turn on?

After disconnecting the battery, your security module may be no longer recognizing your key. When this happens, the fuel pump will not run.

How do I check this and fix it if that's the problem?

Good question. You don't have a security system do you?

Maybe try disconnecting the battery again, insert the key in the ignition and reconnect.

Some aftermarket security systems you have to lock and unlock with the remote to enable it to start once the battery is disconnected.

I have no security system in the car. I had the key in the ignition the whole time i was working on it. I've never had this problem before.

Hmmm.

Over on the Honda Accord forum this guy put rear brakes on his car, now it won't start either.

I'm at a loss. You have another copy of that key (in case the resistor got zorched somehow)?

Besides the fuses, are there any electrical leads that may have come undone?
