my 1990 dodge dakota's starter doesnt turn now there's also a big wire that seems to have come disconnected and im not sure where it goes it is a big black wire with a metal loop at the end and ideas?

Re: starter problems
it's probably the power lead that goes on your stater. There should be a nut holding it on your starter. It's possible that it vibrated loose.
