okay so this morning i started my car and drove to wal mart...no problem...drove back home...no problem. two hours later i decided to leave again and my baby wouldnt start...so i thought, dead battery. After trying to jump start, still nothing. I pulled the back seat out and saw that my IGN 3 fuse was blown. I changed it out and still nothing. It just blew again. I 've read thread after thread after thread about ignition switches and cylinders. Thats great but no one had anything to say about blown fuses. I'm a poor military guy who got a great deal on my 97 and I would like to be proud of my car again...I dont want to turn it in to a service shop due to the fact that i cant afford it and that i would rather try to figure it out myself with fellow Aurora owners help!! HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Pretty sure that the ignition must be blown. Call around, but gmpartsdirect.com has it for about $80. Call some junkyards, tell them you can buy it new for $50 and they may charge you a lot less. Good Luck.
