Adding A/C to 2003 Focus ZX3

I got a base model ZX3 and I was wondering if its possible to economically add A/C to it. I'm told Ford doesn't make a kit for it and a place i was referred to by a dealership wants $1,900 for installation.

dude i have a 04 and i got the same problem but i dont have 2k so yea anyone with advice please help
